Every dog and cat in the City must be licensed. When purchasing a license, proof of rabies and distemper shots must be provided, as well as proof the animal is spayed or neutered (if applicable). Animal licenses must be renewed annually and are valid from January 1st to December 31st. Licenses can be purchased from our office, the Animal Rescue League at 134 Taylor Avenue, and at a number of local veterinarian clinics and pet stores.
