The Training Division of the Saint John Fire Department is dedicated to providing a structured training program - A program designed to guide a firefighter through the basic skills of firefighting to the leadership role of a Company Officer. The life and property savings results that are achieved through training programs are immeasurable. Ongoing education is the prime objective of the Training Division. Fire Department personnel are kept abreast of the ever changing needs and requirements of the citizens of Saint John. This ongoing and continuous training ensures that our firefighters are brought to a skill and knowledge level required to meet the demands placed upon them.
