Changes were made to the City of Saint John Traffic By-law in August 2003 by the Saint John Common Council which affect on-street parking in the South/Central Peninsula. This is the entire area south of the Saint John Throughway bounded by Marsh Creek and Courtenay Bay on the eastern side, and the Saint John Harbour on the western side. Alternate Side Parking, a year-round program, means that:
Why: Alternate Side Parking allows easier snow control or removal when necessary during the winter, and street cleaning and maintenance during the remainder of the year. Affected streets are listed in Schedule H-1 of the Traffic By-law of the City of Saint John. |
