Saint John has a huge variety of fresh seafood that tourists enjoy. Lobster is one of the common tourist choices, while others enjoy fresh salmon. If you do not prefer the seafood, the there are many other choices including Greek, French, Thai, Japanese, and more! There is casual and fine dining available in Saint John. Also, one must stop at the Saint John City Market for a wonderful choice of fresh foods that are brought in by local fishermen and farmers.

Some of the preferred restaurants in the area are Billy’s Seafood Company, for a luxurious steak and seafood meal. Or for a local Chinese and Canadian menu, try Bamboo East Restaurant on Adelaide Street. If you are craving Mexican food, you should stop at Mexicali Rosa’s. For Greek food you can visit one of Vito's three restaurants and try the 'Greek Dinner Plate' which includes a 'pastitsio' cooked like in Kefalonia.  For the homesick tourists, you can stop at the Saint John Pizza Hut for a taste of home.
